Eight of Japan’s greatest smiths will forge 8 custom blades for 8 select clients. Each sword mounted with antique samurai fittings. All registered with the NBTHK. Each owner wears the gold ring forged with a bit of the steel from their blade. Each ring bears the club’s solid gold logo 8 with the raised S inside. Only 8 swords will ever be created. The 8 Samurai Series is the creative idea of A. Taum Dell’Armo, Founder/Director, Carmel Samurai Company, Carmel, CA USA. Dell’Armo has studied five martial arts including his passion, Iaido. Known as a marketing expert in his country, Dell’Armowas Senior VP with Ogilvy, International, the largest advertising agency in the world. Previous to that he was Executive Director of Simon Marketing, the world’s largest Promotions Company. In that capacity, he oversaw worldwide promotions for clients like Coca-Cola, American Express, and McDonald’s. His company created the big money games that have become so popular and eventually led to creating the template for all US State Lotteries. After retiring, Dell’Armo had the idea to merge his unique advertising/marketing skills with his love of samurai sword. To do something that had never been attempted before.
